The redevelopment of 12.5 ha of prime coastal railway land at La Bocca, Cannes, presents a unique opportunity to develop the attractivity of the city; the creation of a new seaside quarter which reconnects the community with the sea and provides homes, jobs, schools and leisure opportunities for residents and tourists to the Côte d’Azur. The towns people were keen to see a large new town park – a facility which they currently lack. Our proposals expertly balance these competing needs to create a high value, high quality sustainable mixed-use quarter with strong links to the sea.
